Please contact info@adoptastray.ws for more information about this pet. Mufasa was found by a good samaritan when he was days old. His back end was already paralyzed, and it appears he was born paralyzed. The good samaritan sent videos of this beautiful kitten living outside in hopes to find someone willing to give him a home or find him a home. The video was received by an Adopt A Stray volunteer that knew she had to help this kitten. Mufasa was examined by a vet, and had X-rays taken. Nothing showed in the X-rays to indicate any injury or any indication something could be done to change his paralysis. Mufasa was also taken to a neurologist who also concluded the same. Mufasa is a very happy kitty. His purrs would even make Mr. Scrooge smile. He loves to play and enjoys rough housing with other kitties. Mufasa has no idea he is different from the other kitties. Mufasa does not need a litter box. He can not urinate on his own, and needs to be expressed 3 times a day. It is extremely important he be expressed, because he could die. He will leak a little urine, and that is why he wears diapers. This special needs boy is looking for a home that will love him unconditionally and is able to care for him. You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6 pm. You can fill out an application for Mufasa at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406.
