I was fending for myself in a feral cat colony. One night when I went to get some dinner provided by an AAS volunteer several of us were trapped and taken to the vet to be sterilized. After my surgery I tried everything I knew to get the attention of the volunteer to tell her I liked people and didn't really belong with the feral cats. I didn't think it was working, but I kept trying and finally when we went to release me back in the colony, I meowed and meowed to get her attention and kept rubbing against the cage..It worked. She finally recognized that I am sweet and friendly and just want a family to love me. Now I have that chance. I get along with other cats, but I do like to be the dominant one in the family. I really love dogs - big and small. Do you have a dog who wants a cat? I would do well in a home with older children. I love sitting on a lap and getting and giving affection.
