Penny Lane was rescued from an abandoned house. There were 24 cats and 1 dog, most of the cats were not friendly enough for adoption.  Like all the other cats, she probably spent most of her short life without any human contact and so you might expect her to not want anything to do with people.

Well not Ms. Penny Lane. She is reserved until she is comfortable in her surroundings and trusts you.  Then watch out....she is EXTREMELY affectionate and loving - she just wants to cuddle up and love you making up for all those months when no one petted her or she had no laps to sit on.

Penny Lane recently moved into the Pembroke PInes Petsmart and has had a hard time getting used to all the activity and so many other cats.  Although she spends some time each day hiding other the cages, when the room is quiet she comes out and is happy to sit on your lap.
 
Penny Lane is a very petite little girl.  Although it's easy to tell from her pictures how gorgeous she is, it's hard to tell how small she is.  She could probably pass for a 6-8 month old kitten and is as light as a feather when you pick her up.  We are learning more and more about this gorgeous, friendly and loving cat.
