Maxie was left behind when her owners moved from the gated community where she lived. She stayed under an opening in the deck once they were gone and scrounged for food. Luckily in her search for food, she found her way to the home of an Adopt A Stray volunteer. She is now safe and getting regular meals inside the volunteers screened in porch, but still needs a home of her own.
She is sweet,affectionate and lovable, rubs around your legs and is a heavy purrer. Also VERY vocal. She can be a teeny bit bossy. She was very hissy at first to the other cats around food time an would chase them away from their dishes to eat their servings but now that she is eating regularly is fine and will even sleep right next to whoever is near by . She is a real doll baby
You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6pm.
