Update: (Feb 2015) Well, this handsome boy is wondering what a guy has to do to get a home and family of his own. He has been waiting (mostly patiently) for the last 4 years for someone special to come along with a laser pointer, some fuzzy mice, a pinch or two of some fine catnip and a warm lap that's just his size. To say that he is ready to be the center of your universe would be an understatement and given half a chance, Miney will PURR his way right into your heart.  Over the last couple of years, Miney has grown up a little and calmed down a bit. He's no longer the crazy kitten running all over the place, tripping everyone and climbing the curtains! He is a gentleman that still has some vim & vigor but knows when to reign it in. He will always be up for a friendly tournament of laser tag but he will also enjoy just sitting back and hanging out with the family. Have homework to do? Miney will be your silent, watchful companion. Dinner to cook? Miney will be your attentive, curious audience. He will be the first one to greet you when you come home from a hard day of work. All Miney really wants is what we all want - a family to LOVE and call his own. He has certainly known love in his foster home but that isn't the same thing. There are quite a few cats to share a foster home with and he has had to share the attention for long enough. He would love to be someone's one-and-only, #1 four-legged family member. He has an enormous amount of LOVE & PURRS to share with his new family. Miney hangs out - waiting - at the Aventura PetSmart on Saturdays from noon to 6pm and on Sundays from 9-4pm. Come on over on the weekend and meet this handsome boy! You will be glad you did.

King Midas of kitties. This little character will keep you laughing and smiling all day..and night. Miney really needs some serious lovin'. He has been with Adopt A Stray since he was a baby and has seen quite a lot of his buddies (including his brother Mo) get adopted...all leaving him behind. He has the face of an angel and the disposition of a kid on the playground.  Miney will perk up your life like no other. Once he has the security and stability of a permanent home he will know just how to make your day. He enjoys conversations and snacks and a lap by the window and just wants to make your day a little brighter. Little Mr. Sunshine is this awesome little boy!
Miney's current home is the adoption center in the Aventura PetSmart where you can go to meet him 7 days a week. He is so ready for a change of scenery  -  a family to entertain, to play laser tag with, to give all his LOVE and PURRS to! He would be purrfectly happy to be your only special boy or to have a couple of feline brothers or sisters. He's just waiting for the LOVE and CONTENTMENT that can only be experienced from finally having a home and family of his very own.
