Chuckie is marked as special needs, but he really needs nothing special...just the love and forever home he deserves. His past is a little vague...lots of half truths. The gist of it is: Chuckie was abandaned after he was hit by a car. He was brought to the vet days after he was struck which made it too late to save his leg and they did not want him anymore. The vet fell in love with this happy, loving dog and amputated his hind leg. Two months later he is loveable, yummy and a true boy...full of life, full of love. And definitely ready for his forever home. Chuckie is great with other dogs, a little bossy with a timid cat, and would be great as a family dog.
