This handsome boy is as sweet and laid back as he looks in his pictures. He is currently living at the PetSmart in Aventura so you can go meet him 7 days a week. Murphy is staying for now in the Adoption Center with approximately 10 other cats and he gets along well with all of them. He could be a great companion for someone's family cat that is in need of a buddy. He is friendly & playful and always up for a game of tag with another kitty or happy to relax nearby just knowing that his people or feline friends are close by.

Murphy just turned one year old on March 5 and has been waiting for his new family to come find him since he was about 8 weeks old. It can be hard to understand why, sometimes it seems to take a long time for some really wonderful cats to find their forever homes but when they finally do and it is perfect, we know that it was just meant to be. Murphy is more than ready to have his very own family - to get to sleep with someone and sit on the couch and watch TV with someone special. He wants to lay in front of the window and soak up the sun (NO windows in the Adoption Centers) and to run from room to room chasing little toy mice or a laser light until he is exhausted and then curl up for a cat-nap and know that when he wakes up his dreams of having a real home and a family to love have really finally come true.
