When Mickey was 2 months old he was rescued from the streets and brought to a shelter.  He was scared at first but then he realized how lucky he was to have a roof over his head and a bowl full of food.  And Mickey’s luck got even better the day he got adopted and became part of a family.  For the next 10 months Mickey was a happy boy. And then it happened, his previous owner decided that he didn’t really want a cat and that’s the day Mickey’s world came crashing down.

For the past month, Mickey has been hanging out in Adopt A Stray’s cat room in the Aventura Petsmart and has adjusted to his temporary home beautifully.

Mickey has a lot going for him – he’s got a great temperament, he’s affectionate and loving, he adores people, gets along with other cats and he is very very handsome! He’s a mellow man who doesn’t seem to be fazed by much and takes everything in stride.

Mickey would love to become part of a family again and he is patiently waiting for someone to open their life and home to him.
