Mochi is a joyful - FUN LOVING - playful - CUDDLY kitten that is happy to be alive and living life to the fullest!! To watch her carefree antics, you would never know the rough start she has had. Mochi & her littermates were left in a box on a porch without their mother as newborns. By the time they got into a foster home that knew how to care for them, they were very sick & starving. (3 of the 4 survived).
At 5 weeks old, Mochi had a near fatal run-in with a 50 lb dog. The amazingly compassionate vet that took her home for 5 days calls her a "Miracle Kitten". She said that Mochi had at least 4 injuries that she should not have survived - but Mochi had other plans!! She has a bunch of lives left and she's going to make the most of them! The only scar from everything that has happened to her is the faint white line on her left side.
Mochi is one of the most affectionate kittens you could hope to know. She loves everyone and is happy to show you just how much. She's the ultimate LAP kitty (when she's not involved in fun & games!!) and LOVES TO SNUGGLE!!
Mochi would be happiest if there was another cat to play with in her new home. If you are thinking about adopting 2 kitties, be sure to check out Mochi's sister - Asia and her good buddy - Iota. They will all 3 be hanging out together on Saturdays & Sundays at the PetSmart in Aventura until they go to their new homes. It is also possible to meet Mochi during the week with an approved application.
