Every once in awhile you meet a very special cat, one whose heart is so trusting and generous even after having some rough experiences.

Meet Chelsea – a sweet, loving and brave young lady.

Somehow, Chelsea ended up living on the streets behind an apartment building.  Some of the people that lived in the apartment building felt sorry for Chelsea and gave her food but no one wanted to take her and give her a home.

Eventually, Chelsea became pregnant and had 6 beautiful kittens. Chelsea was a wonderful mommy and took excellent care of her babies.  People still fed her but still no one offered her or her babies a safe place to live.

Not everyone in the apartment building was happy about Chelsea and her babies living there and threats were made to harm her and her babies.  That is when Adopt A Stray was made aware of the situation and stepped in and rescued Chelsea and her babies from a bad situation.

Since their rescue, all of Chelsea’s babies have grown into adorable and loving kittens and have been placed in wonderful homes.  Chelsea is a very smart girl and knows that she is very lucky to be in a safe place but she also knows that there is so much more to life.  She would love to have a warm chair to hang out on, a window to look out of, a bed to snuggle on and a person to love.  Chelsea wants and deserves a home.  Please open your heart to this sweet and loving girl because she is truly worth it.
