Adopt A Stray got a call from a person who cares for a colony of cats in coconut grove (hence her name) saying they had found an extremely friendly kitten about 3 or 4 months old. She said that she had never been seen in this colony before. It was an unsafe place for this baby in a busy parking lot.
When Coconut was received she was hardly a kitten, but a full grown gorgeous and loving cat. Who knew where she came from, too friendly to not have had a home, but too neglected and not cared for to have a home!!!
Besides being very skinny with obvious signs of having had kittens, she was healthy. She was vetted (vaccinated, spayed, tested for diseases) and is now ready for adoption. She remains extremely sweet and loving and is ready for a real home where she can be loved, cared for and sleep in a warm bed for the rest of her life. Everyday Coconut shows more of her personality, she is warm and sweet and beginning to play with toys You can meet this wonderful kitty at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart where she currently lives. You can fill out an application for Coconut at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406. Petsmart employees are not familiar with the cats available through Adopt A Stray. Please contact Adopt A Stray directly. Learn more about Adopt A Stray by visiting our website www.adoptastray.ws.
