While in his foster home Poet was wonderful.  He loved being picked up and would rub on my leg for attention, and he loves to play.  When I first got him and his brother (Lyric) they both would hide, and it took about a week to get them to feel comfortable.  During that week they both received a lot of attention, hugs, and kisses.  Once they both felt comfortable, they were both very loving.  Lyric was adopted, and I am sure Poet is missing his brother.

Poet is having a difficult time adjusting to his move into Petsmart.  He has a tendency to run when he is nervous, but once he realizes that no one is going to hurt him he will relax.  The time you spend with him will help him tremendously to show his super sweet side.  He may cringe or try to get away from you at first, please do not let this discourage from considering him for adoption.  Once he bonds to his family all the love and attention given to him will be so worth the love he will give back.  Poet needs a home that is willing to give him lots of attention and give him the time he needs for his wonderful personality to emerge.

Poets beautiful coat has more spots than stripes like Egyptian Maus.

Poet was born in July of 2016.
